The American actress Angelina Jolie, 33 years old, gave birth to twins in a clinic in Nice, France, as informed Sunday that the Nice Matin newspaper. According to the newspaper, Angelina gave birth to Vivienne Knox and Leon Marcheline Jolie-Pitt shortly before the 20 hours (local time) this Saturday, 12. The father of the couple's twins, the actor Brad Pitt, 44 years old, attended the Caesarean section. Now they have three children and three biological, adoptive.

The Nice Matin also said that Knox was born Leon with 2.27 kilograms and that Vivienne Marcheline weighs 2.28 kilograms. The first photo of the family with two newborns will be sold for $ 11 million (about U.S. $ 17 million) to an American daily, and the money will be donated to a humanitarian cause, according to the publication. I've been marveling at the Jolie-Pitt's clan I am embarrassed to say.  I mean at the rate that they grow and breed, either naturally (with or without medical intervention) or trans-nationally (through adoption).  I've been wanting to write how it feels to be Maddox since his daddy became officially his in 2005 after his separation from his wife in January that year.  I mean, look at him, he'd been alone with his famous mom the first 3 years of his life, then daddy came into picture.  Now there were three of them.  A few months later, he got a sister from Ethiopia and they became the fantastic 4.  That was 100% growth rate in a year.  It was huge for any 3 year old.

And a few months later mommy got a baby bump.  A year after an African baby sister, Mad welcomed a blond baby sister.  So there were five of them now in just over a year.  This year it was 50% growth rate out of original number or 25% out of total.  Still, it's about 5 or 6 times faster than the average of third world's birth rate.

Less than a year later, Mad procured a Vietnamese brother.  There were six of them now.  Another 50% of growth rate out of original number of two and 20% out of total.  Yep, still about 3 times faster than average birth rate in Africa.

A few months later, mommy was pronounced expecting again, and this time double the bumps.  She confirmed just a week or so ago this time were indeed two baby girls, due in the Summer.

Additional two this year, another 100% growth rate out of two and 25% of out of total number.  Higher than Asia's growth rate.  There will be 8 of them this year.

So imagine if you were little Maddox.  In 2005, it was only you and mommy; you got all the love and attention and then 3 years later there are 6 additional members to your family  -and still counting!  From 2 people in the house to 8 -a growth of 400%- in three years.  How devastating that could be?

I guess Daddy Brad wasn't warned not to be cautious of what he wished for.  Or maybe he absolutely meant it when asked, while still married to Jennifer Aniston, how many kids he wanted them to have, he said enough to fill a soccer team (or something to that effect).  He couldn't wait, we got it.  It's just amazing a couple could breed so much so quickly...or it's perhaps my warped sense of how time flies by. And how does he cope, really?  One day he was childless, the next morning he woke up with six kids! I suppose it's nothing compared to that couple who's been pregnant each year in the last 11 years and is expecting their 18th child this year (imagine the feeling of seeing your mom perpetually pregnant your entire life)!!  How blessed with fertility genes these people are.

It's an industry. Celebrity weeklies, forced to compete with a swarm of entertainment shows and tabloid-style blogs, all chronicling the minutia of celebrity life, have gone into a frenzy for exclusives. The result: The amount they're willing to pay for snaps of private moments has skyrocketed. And entrepreneurial celebrities stepping in to maintain control of--and profit from--their exposure, only fuel things further.

In Forbes' list of the most expensive celebrity baby photos, we surveyed top-priced photos sales in the U.S. over the last decade. Our estimates are not adjusted for inflation, and we didn't look at photos that sold for less than $500,000. Since the celebrity weeklies are notoriously tight-lipped about such sales, we were forced to rely on published reports and only considered photo sales for which information was available.

Topping the list is the lavish cover spread of twins Emme and Max, the much-anticipated offspring of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. According to published reports, People magazine, which is owned by Time-Warner, coughed up $6 million for the exclusive first shots that were featured in the glossy's March 31 issue. (The magazine doesn't comment on the specifics of its deals, but says the figure is inaccurate.)

The second most lucrative example to date came in the spring of 2006, when A-list pair Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt peddled pictures of their pouty newborn Shiloh Nouvel to the very same magazine.

Rather than pocket the loot, the humanitarian duo donated the funds to African charity. The reported sum: $4.1 million--and that doesn't include the $3.5 million that Hello! reportedly shelled out for the British rights to the pictorial. Less than a year later, the couple reportedly banked another $2 million for a set of exclusive pictures of adopted son Pax Thien. The coo-worthy shots of the Vietnamese-born tot, which tied with OK! Magazine's Danielynn (Anna Nicole Smith's daughter) spread for third place on our list, were splashed across a June issue of People magazine. Now, with a set of twins reportedly on the way, industry insiders suggest the bold-faced couple could fetch as much as $10 million for the exclusive

Such photographs are no doubt adorable, but are they really worth their hefty price tags?

Absolutely, says OK! deputy editor Rob Shuter. But anybody that looks at it as just a one-week phenomenon has missed the real point," Shuter explains. "It's branding. It's publicity. It's marketing."

For a magazine, an exclusive set of A-list baby pics generates a tremendous amount of buzz, from blog write-ups to talk show segments to newspaper headlines. Not every star is willing to play, however.

Will the latest crop of pregnant celebs, including Jamie Lynn Spears, Jessica Alba and Nicole Kidman, take their cue from the Sex and the City star? The increasingly competitive star-gazing industry is hoping not--and Trunzo says the audience that supports it wouldn't be pleased either.

"Celebrities put out one face when they're on the big or small screen," she says, "but the face that our readers want to see is the one behind closed doors."

In fact every female sounds the same, as does every male. Irrespective of age, sex, nationality, ethnic background, the voices are always the same.
It raises the question, how on earth do the Spanish (I say Spanish, cos I’ve seen dubbed German films and they seem to use actors who actually sound a bit like the person they’re dubbing) know who’s a good actor and who isn’t? What’s an award winning performance and what’s a bag of shite? Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino, Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington, Gérard Depardieu– all sound exactly the same, Mexican bandits the lot. Charlize Theron, Julia Roberts, Halle Berry, Keira Knightley likewise; all washed up hookers who’ve been on the booze and ciggies for far too long. It’s enough to drive you to hold up the Wells Fargo coach. Actually, I’m being unfair, there is one exception to the rule; good old Sean Connery. They can do him pretty well, but then can’t everyone?
