Born in the UK but raised in his parents’ home country of Nigeria, an early exposure to James Brown in concert convinced Ola Onabule that he wanted to be a singer.

Pursuing this ambition has seen him onstage alongside artists such as George Michael, Joe Zawinul, Roberta Flack and Gladys Knight.

He released his sixth studio album, The Devoured Man, in 2007 on Rugged Ram Records, which he set up himself to put out his material.

A passionate singer and songwriter, his strong yet sensitive vocals are bolstered by an incredible four octave range and are often influenced by hints of his African roots.

Soccer ace David Beckham’s wife was recently at the centre of rumours that her label, DVB, was in crisis following her announcement of her new range of dresses would not be shown on the catwalk at the upcoming New York Fashion Week, but in small private viewings.

The singer''s DVB denim range also face criticism earlier this year after Los Angeles boutique Kitson dropped the brand - citing poor sales and a lack of promotional activity from the star. However, Posh is firm on her stand that her fashion business is doing well - blaming the media for putting a negative spin on her style exploits.
